Saturn, that beautiful ringed planet, appears to be moving backwards in its orbit for a while every year. Planets don’t actually stop and change course, but from the Earth’s position they can sometimes appear to be slowing down and moving backward. When this happens, we say the planet is in retrograde.

Saturn’s annual retrograde lasts about 4 1/2 months. During this time, the influences of this planet can be different than they normally are. Being prepared for retrograde periods can help you sail through them more steadily.

SATURN DIRECT

When Saturn moves in its usual direction, it is the teacher of lessons– lessons we usually need to learn. It brings us experiences that educate us and guide us on our paths.
